Noah x adidas sustainable capsule
Two new sneakers and a range of apparel made from recycled materials
August 19th, 2020
Noah and adidas Originals have unveiled the lookbook of their collaborative capsule collection – a collection focused on sustainability built from recovery materials generated through adidas Parley for the Oceans project. The name of the new plastic material made from the processing of discarded waste in the ocean is Prime Blue (blue is also the dominant colour of the collection), which will be used in the creation of clothing and two new sneaker silhouettes, the Noah x adidas SL72 and SL20.
The two versions of the new sneaker have different destinations: the SL72 is built based on the archival models of adidas and has a decidedly more vintage mood than the SL20, sneakers with a more utility aesthetic. Both models will be present in a blue colourway and another black. The apparel range includes shirts, sweatshirts, T-shirts and trousers decorated with the double logo of the two brands and the symbol of the collection, a white shell.
The Noah x adidas Originals collaborative capsule collection will be available from August 27 on the official adidas website and on the Confirmed app.
