Where to buy the JJJJound x New Balance 992
After the first sold-out, the re-release is set for August 20

Among the most successful sneaker releases of the summer, one of the most remarkable is the JJJJound x New Balance 992. JJJJound, a project born back in 2006 from the mind of Justin Saunders as one of the most followed moodboard pages on Instagram, has in recent years become a well-known design studio whose offer ranges from the production of minimal-chic and elevatd basic garments to collaborations with famous brands such as Vans, Reebok and A.P.C. That with New Balance has quickly become one of the most coveted collaborations of the year, so much so that immediately after the first release, which took place at the end of July, both colorways of the collaborative sneaker sold out almost instantly. But a new release has already been scheduled, and it's set for August 20.
The sneaker, available in the two colourways, grey and green, is a small masterpiece of the normcore aesthetic: its seemingly simple construction hides a series of interesting and intricate details, both when it comes to the upper, in which two different colors of suede are chained on a mesh base, as well as on the sole, in which appear slightly asymmetrical and metalized details that show the branding of New Balance. An oval section on the heel of the shoe shows the JJJound logo in grey letters.
