The new Stüssy x Nike sneaker is an Air Zoom Kukini

A few months after the drop of the capsule collection where the Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 made its debut, Stüssy and Nike renew the collaboration, started more than twenty years ago, with the announcement of the release a new sneaker: it is an Air Zoom Kukini, a great Nike classic of the 2000s, reworked for the occasion in a hybrid design that mixes some typical elements of the sneaker with others of the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2, the same model on which the two brands collaborated earlier this year. The new Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Kukini will be available in two colours: Black/Glossy Cactus and White/Habanero Red. The drop is completed by a couple of Benassi slides in different colours and a set of beach clothing.

The new Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Kukini comes with the upper part mounted by the plastic cage typical of the Kukini, from toe to heel. The material inside changes according to the colour: Black/Bright Cactus uses a smooth material similar to a net, while the version in White/Red Habanero opts for a perforated jersey-style structure. The Spiridon design returns instead to the lower part of the shoe, in particular to the sole, which proposes the Zoom heel designed by Steven Smith already in 2003 for the original version. Among the items, the capsule includes three colours of a Benassi slide with the word "Stüssy", track jackets and t-shirts, as well as short and a bucket hat.
