The new Golden Ticket 501® jeans by Levi’s® Vintage Clothing
The treasure hunt has started
June 4th, 2020
Levi’s® Vintage Clothing launches the Golden Ticket 501® Jeans, a new limited edition pair of jeans. As part of an exclusive collection that celebrates the transition from the original capital "E" to the lowercase "e" on the Red Tab Levi's® label, which went down in 1971, the limited model will be released on June 4th, 2020 and it will be a faithful reproduction of the iconic jeans from the Seventies, including the label with the capital "E".
It will not be so easy to find it, though. The capsule collection is made of 501 pair of jeans, but only 5 of them will feature the Red Tab with the capital "E". Each pair of 501s will have their label wrapped in a golden paper: exactly as it happens to Charlie in the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, once you have purchased your pair of jeans, the only way to find out if you got one with the capital "E" is to unwrap the paper. The treasure hunt has officially started.
Founded in San Francisco back in 1853 by Levi Strauss, a German immigrant of Jewish descents, Levi Strauss & Co. is commonly known as "The Mother of Jeans". Levi’s® Vintage Clothing is the brand's line that remained the most faithful to the original spirit of Levi's®, still inspired by the heritage of the working tracksuits for which it was originally founded.
