Last night, both Virgil Abloh and Mathias Patillon, footwear design director for Louis Vuitton, posted on their personal Instagram the first unofficial shot of one of the footwear of the LV² line, designed by Abloh in collaboration with NIGO, founder of BAPE and a key figure in the Japanese streetwear scene.
The slip-on features a suede upper with a decorative strap and a gold buckle bearing the branding of LV². Leather segments and an eco-fur interior complete the shoe, along with a high sole, decorated with a contrasting colour section.
The brand has not provided an official drop date but is assumed to be in the summer, as the LV² collection is labelled as a Pre-Fall.
