The COVID-19 emergency has caused the delay and the cancellation of many events all over the world, but not the Fashion Film Festival Milano. Following the example of some other festivals (as the Skate & Surf Film Festival, Milano), the 7th edition of FFFMilano will take place online, in November 2020. This new digital format perfectly respects the democratic spirit that always led the event, since its very foundation.
All the creatives, brands, productions, directors and emerging designers who would like to participate in the Festival can submit their works through the official site until June 25, 2020.
“For the first time, Fashion Film Festival Milano will give free access to the online streaming of all its contents. The audience will have the opportunity to participate and be a part of our community, no matter where they're located. It's a further step towards inclusion and the share of feelings that comes in a moment in history when we can't give up on unity, no matter where we come from”, said the founder of the Festival Constanza Cavalli Etro.
Every year, FFFMilano receives more than 1000 fashion films from 60 different Countries and emerging talents. Films and authors that will be selected will be entering the group of professionals brands and international directors who in the past few years presented their works at the Festival: Jil Sander, Armani, Gucci, Prada, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Etro, but also Spike Lee, Spike Jonze, Robert De Niro, Wes Anderson, Roman Polanski, Paolo Sorrentino, Ana Lily Amirpour, Wim Wenders.
