The new Jacob & Co. x Bugatti watch

Jacob & Co. is the watchmaker of the streetwear world, so it's no surprise that it launches into extra-luxury collaborations with the most diverse brands and designers. After collaborating with Virgil Abloh on a custom-made jewelry collection, the brand founded by Jacob Arabo has created another of his absurdly opulent watches in partnership with Bugatti: the Jacob & Co. Chiron Tourbillon.

This is not the first time that the two brands have collaborated: in April of a year ago they had formed a long-term partnership celebrating it with the creation of two luxurious limited edition watches. The theme of the Chiron Tourbillion is Bugatti's Chiron Hypercar, which was also customised last December in collaboration with Hermès.  

The appearance of the car is first evoked in the miniature engine created from a sapphire with a tree and working pistons that can activate three times in a row for about twenty seconds. On the sides of the case, there are turbos that run when the mechanism of the "engine" activates as well as a fuel gauge and suspension system. A Cardan stem reminiscent of an engine shaft was created to make the crown axis move. 

Among other things, then, being the custom-made Chiron Tourbillon to order, you can coordinate features and colourways to your car if you are willing to pay the astronomical price of 280,000€.
