Where to buy Jonah Hill's adidas Superstar

UPDATE 8.07.20: After many leaks and cancellation, Saturday, July 11th will see the official release of Jonah Hill's adidas Superstar, available on adidas website and at selected retailers at a price of $140.

After many leaks and rumours, the official announcement was released last January. With a short video posted on his Instagram profile, Jonah Hill had, in fact, made his partnership with adidas official, without giving further details. A few weeks later the campaign of the sportswear giant, directed by Hill himself, was released, which featured high-profile names close to the brand, such as Pharrell Williams, Yara Shahidi, Blondey McCoy and Sfera Ebbasta. 

Now Hill has revealed the look of its adidas collaboration, which as expected, will focus on a silhouette that has made the history of the brand and that turns 50 this year. The adidas Superstar by Hill is characterized by white premium leather, the Three Stripes and the laces are dipped in white as well, the only coloured accents are visible on the heel of the sneaker, where Hill's initials are engraved and on the lateral side, where the writing Superstar makes its appearance. From what we can see from the images, there might be a similar artwork also in the inner part of the sneaker, while the tongue is enriched by adidas's claim written in French. For this sneaker, Hill drew inspiration mainly from the 90s, and especially from the style and the way hip hop and skate communities used to wear this silhouette, the fat laces might, in fact, be a clear reference to their stylistic choices.
