The new LC23 Spring collection
Innovative materials, elaborate knitwear and the Pink Panther as the protagonist

When he was born ten years ago, at the hands of Leo Colacicco, LC23 was a brand specializing in the production of tailored shirts. After a decade, the brand founded and based in Puglia, in the municipality of Gioia del Colle, has extended its production to all areas of menswear, recently also coming to design sneakers in collaboration with Diadora. Yesterday, the brand and its founder launched the SS20 collection – a collection strictly made in Italy that stars the Pink Panther, an iconic character created in 1963 by Isadore "Friz" Freleng. LC23's SS20 collection is already available at select retailers and on the brand's online shop.
This collection, entirely produced in Puglia, is characterized by new techniques of washing applied on fabrics produced by local companies such as Vitale de Barberis and Olmetex. Despite the common aesthetics, the collection has two sides: one is that of the most classic tailoring clothes, while the other is focused on more technical garments, such as shorts and nylon anorak. Highlights of the collection include the "Camo" dress and cotton ripstop trench coat, chinos with paint sketches and summer suits with short trousers. The Pink Panther, the symbol of the collection, is depicted on outerwear and knitwear through often very complex embroidery.
