The Air Jordan 1 Mid Milan pack by The Attico
Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini add their touch to the silhouette dedicated to Milan
February 25th, 2020
It was clear since the beginning that the release of the Air Jordan 1 dedicated to Milan would have not been a regular drop. The latest Jordan silhouette is a clear and heartfelt homage to the colours and the aesthetic of the architecture of the city of Milan, of the Duomo marbles and the details of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
To celebrate such a special release a few days ago Jordan hosted, along with One Block Down, an exclusive workshop at the Museo del 900, led by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, the creative minds behind The Attico, the brand that over the last few years managed to become the symbol of the taste and of the glam and refined imaginary of Milan in the world. Ambrosio and Tordini are the perfect embodiment of the ideal Jordan Women's female figure, free, creative, confident, bold.
After the instant sold out of the sneaker on the day of the drop, Jordan presents now a special and exclusive pack enriched by The Attico detailing. Along with the silhouette characterized by premium materials in pink and beige tones, the pack contains a pair of socks decorated with the logo of Ambrosio and Tordini's brand and reproduction of that same logo in silver. Low-key and understated yet elegant elements that are the perfect example of The Attico's philosophy. This special edition of the Air Jordan 1 represents the contemporary blending of streetwear and luxury, sophisticated synthesis of two apparently distant worlds, brought together by two female creatives.
