Moncler Genius 2020: One House, Different Voices
Un’experience immersiva attraverso dodici diverse installazioni
February 20th, 2020
Now in its third edition, Moncler Genius confirms itself as one of the most interesting and successful events in the Milan Fashion Week calendar. This year there are twelve installations that give voice to as many visions that coexist and reinterpret Moncler's identity. One of these, called "Reflections" has been organized with Rimowa that through a dedicated app and an LED screen will give people the opportunity to interact with those next to them.
Moncler Genius's creative hub is enriched with a very important name, JW Anderson. Through a non-binary vision that interweaves masculinity and femininity, the Northern Irish creative offered a contemporary interpretation of the brand, enriched by the details that made his namesake fashion house famous, such as polka dot decorations and studs to nylon tip. Another novelty of this edition is the presentation of MATE.BIKE's electric bike, able to travel the extreme terrain of the high mountain through a new concept of conventional commuting.
Anderson joins Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni for 2 Moncler 1952, Sandro Mandrino for 3 Moncler Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM, Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment, Richard Quinn and Poldo Dog Couture, an impressive list of names, embracing different aesthetics and inspirations, which not only reflect the current fashion landscape, but the entire history of Moncler.
