Nike presents the new Air Max 2090

Between the recraft of the original model and the upcoming arrival of the Air Max 90 FlyEase, Nike is celebrating with many releases the 30th anniversary of the historic Air Max 90. But if previous sneakers update a model from the past, the Nike Air Max 2090 coming out this spring tries to imagine the future of footwear. Just as the original colors of the Air Max 90 were inspired by sports cars, so for the new Air Max 2090 the inspiration for the various colorways comes from the future of transport.

The Nike Air Max 2090 features an innovative upper built from opaque structural elements and transparent materials and ultra-alleallegeri. Instead, the Air Unit appears larger with twice the size of the sole opening twice as large as the previous models and a new groove system that increases its flexibility. The swoosh appears cut by the mudguard on which there is a red seam that recalls the colors present in the back elements of the shoe and contrasts with the blue shades of the toe while the heel logo remains unchanged.
