With a very short video, a few hours ago Jonah Hill took to Instagram to officially announced his collaboration with adidas.
The rumours on a possible collaboration between Mid90s director and the sportswear giant started circulating a few months ago, especially after Hill posted a picture wearing a pair of adidas sneakers yet to be released.
When guesting on the Sneaker Shopping with Complex show, Hill told about his passion for sneakers and adidas silhouettes, and in particular, his love for adidas Samba, according to him the best sneaker ever made and the best incarnation of the skate aesthetics. Over the last few years, Jonah Hill has become a real style icon, constantly followed by paparazzi, with fashion magazines celebrating his style and with entire IG accounts dedicated to his outfits.
The adidas sneaker Hill was spotted wearing a few months back, the adidas Originals Lexicon Future, was not one of his creations. We'll have to wait to find out whether Hill will draw inspiration from the wide adidas archive, maybe revisiting classics like the Samba or the Campus, or if he'd rather design something completely new. Sources are noting that there might be three sneaker releases on the way, two adidas Samba and one adidas Superstar.
