London Fashion Week Men's FW20 Moodboard
The inspirations directly from the catwalks
January 7th, 2020
On the runway, we saw the proposals for autumn-winter 2020: from Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY's "danders" to Astrid Andersen's memories of Denmark, from Martine Rose's outsiders to the British Caribbean told by John Goto's photography for Grace Wales Bonner, from Edward Crutchley's exoticism to Xander Zhou's pixelated garments. The inspirations driving the collections of the latest London Fashion Week Men's do not surprise: nature; the sun rising behind the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian or the one re-imagined by Olafur Eliasson; family; the roots and central role of mothers; lots of art and a hint of madness. There was also some interesting collaborations like the one between Feng Chen Wang and Converse, between Chalayan and Boloni or between Saga Furs and Astrid Andersen, even if the most strange and cool detail shown these days is the crown of thorns made of pencils designed by Gotesson's partner, Husam El Odeh.
