Suicoke has unveiled the new lookbook
Tabi sandals and boots in the new collection of the Japanese brand
November 13th, 2019
The story of Suicoke is one of the most complete examples of how streetwear does not conform under precise rules, and that visual stimulation and the search for unconventional design are one of the most successful elements in the new fashion industry. Suicoke is continuing to develop collections and collaborations with some major brands, such as Valentino or BAPE, A.P.C., Beams, GOLF le FLEUR, Maharishi, Aimé Leon Dore, Midnight Studio, Aries or Wacko Maria.
The new lookbook also celebrates the 2014 partnership with Vibram, thanks to which Suicoke became the first sandal equipped with a sole made by the Italian company. From the simple idea of a sandal we have moved to a versatile and aesthetically renewed product, bringing the brand founded in Japan in 2006 within the street world. Suicoke has therefore opened up to the world of outdoor looks and casualwear, becoming one of the first brands to focus simultaneously on two fields so distant from each other.
Each collection is an indicator of how much the brand is flourishing in a very competitive market and the new lookbook shows how the brand also maintains a wide radar of inspiration for the new season. There are sandals in fur with tears; boots that revisits the hiking models with leather inserts, rubber details and hiking laces; but also models with leopard animalier graphics. The imprint of Japanese culture then returns to the silhouettes and tips of the sandals inspired by the traditional Jika Tabi, Suicoke's great trademark.
