Billabong unveils new fully infrared shot advertising campaign
“Creatures of color” ft. the surfers Laura Enever, Alessa Quizon and Felicity Palmateer

A video shot entirely in infrared, thanks to the use of a modified camera equipped with a lens that is sensitive to wavelengths imperceptible by the human eye, follows the three professional surfers Laura Enever, Alessa Quizon and Felicity Palmateer to discover a lush pink jungle. This is the surreal and a dreamlike landscape created by Creatures of color, Billabong's new advertising campaign. The swimwear brand born along Australia's golden coast in 1973 chooses to experiment with images to tell the story of the FW19 collection playing with the prints and palette of the new garments, transforming them into the same elements that dominate the short film directed by Nate Lawrence.
Palm leaves, a palette of bright pink, the spicy shades of rum and cocoa, the deep greens of the lagoon become the protagonists of a project that shows how nature is a place where you can wander freely, letting yourself be won over by its beauty, scents, colors, its primitive strength that gives a great sense of freedom. The same that you feel when you surf, riding the wildest waves.
