Champion celebrates its 100th birthday with a capsule collection
A unisex sweatshirt selection available on Amazon
July 17th, 2019
It's been 100 years since the Feinbloom brothers founded the Knickerbocker Knitting Company, later known as Champion, in Rochester, NY, in 1919. From the first contract with the Michigan Wolverines to the uniforms for their teams to the partnerships with the NBA and NFL, the company quickly achieved international success thanks to the combination of classic aesthetic elements such as the use of traditional cotton, jersey and nylon materials, and innovative designs.
To celebrate this important birthday, the brand decided to present a capsule collection sold exclusively on Amazon. The protagonist is the most iconic garment of Champion: the hoodie and crew neck. The item, a benchmark for entire generations, is available in two models, both featuring the Champion logo and a "1919" print that alludes to the brand's inaugural year. Colours? Grey, pastel pink and light blue.
Launched on the occasion of Prime Day, the selection of garments is still available on Amazon.
