Release date and price of the upcoming Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5

UPDATE: After many leaks, there's finally an official release date and price for the upcoming Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5. The newest Virgil Abloh designed silhouette will drop Thursday, June 27th at a price of $170, in selected retailers like Naked, END and SNS always via raffle. 

As we had anticipated here, the collaboration between Off-White and Nike continues with the official presentation of the new Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5. 

The silhouette of the running sneaker is clearly track&field inspired, with small running spikes alongside and technical-style laces. The shoe features moreover classic Off-White details like the lace tag, this time in green, and the orange tab on the Swoosh. The sneaker will be available in three colorways: “White/Metallic Silver/Sail/Safety Orange,” “Electric Green/Metallic Silver/Sail” and “Black/Metallic Silver/White/Pink Blast.”

This is not simply the launch of a new sneaker, but it's part of a bigger collection which pays homage to the confidence and self belief of runners throughout history: "Athlete in Progress". Virgil Abloh and Nike have worked closely on the aesthetic of the running women to make the collection. Even during the Off-White SS19 show held last September in Paris, walking the runway were some of the best Nike athletes of our times: Dina Asher Smith, Vashti Cunningham, Cecilia Yeung, English Gardner, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Nafi Thaim, Caterine Ibarguen e Rénelle Lamote. 

The protagonist of the campaign is the two-time gold medal winner and 800-meter World Champion South African runner Caster Semenya, who is pictured wearing limited-edition running top and tights, as well as the Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5. 

The entire Collection Will be available worldwide from June 27.
