Gucci is set to present a new photo book, which is the result of a collaboration with Harmony Korine. The new project will include a series of images taken by the American director, artist and screenwriter, including shots from Alessandro Michele's 2019 Pre-Fall collection set in Herculaneum and Pompeii, the two ancient Roman cities that are UNESCO World Heritage sites. What makes the book special are the details such as the cover, the back and the case, all decorated with illustrations by the artist. In addition, the spins of the pages have different colours so that, when placed next to each other, five copies of the volume form an image.
Gucci by Harmony Korine will be distributed from early June by independent London publisher IDEA Books, but will also be available from Gucci Garden in Florence and the Gucci Wooster Bookstore in New York.
