After Van Gogh, Star Wars and David Bowie, Vans has decided to celebrate another icon of contemporary pop culture: Harry Potter. The brand has just unveiled via Twitter that it will create a collection of sneakers and apparel inspired by the world of characters created by J. K. Rowling. The announcement was made by the company itself, sharing animated graphics with Harry Potter and Vans fonts, composed of the colours of Hogwarts and accompanied by the caption "Something magical coming soon". On the Vans website you can also read the following message:
"Vans and Harry Potter collaborated to conjure up a magical collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories for witches, wizards, and muggles alike."

The details about the project are still very limited. All we know is that the capsule will be part of the new Comfycush line and that it could include the classic models of Vans: the Sk8-Hi, the Old Skool, the Slip-On, the Era and the Authentic. Each of them, as suggested by the web page dedicated to the collection, will recall the colours of the various houses of Hogwarts school of magic and witchcraft: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
