Gucci Zumi: the new Gucci's it bag Inspired by the actress and musician Zumi Rosow

With a special event at its store in Via Montenapoleone 5 in Milan, Gucci presented the new line of Gucci Zumi bags. The precious series of accessories debuted last September during Paris Fashion Week as part of the brand's SS19 collection. On that occasion to wear it was Zumi Rosow, the multi-faceted artist who inspired Alessandro Michele to create this beautiful object.

The eclectic talent of the woman who is divided between music, fashion and jewelry design, reworked by the imagination of the Roman designer, becomes the next it bag of the season. The creative director of Gucci started from a rare piece of archive from the 1960s and reinterpreted it, combining two key elements of Gucci's aesthetic, the clamp and the double G, with original and modern details. The result is sophisticated as is evident when looking at the top-handle version characterized by the distinctive double metal closure, and is available in two sizes, medium and small; in two different types of leather, smooth or hammered (but also in fine leathers such as ostrich, python, elafe or crocodile); in an elegant variety of colors. Another highlight of the Gucci Zumi line is the tote with a double chain slider available exclusively in crocodile and lizard. The proposal also includes a pinch of irony represented by the medium-size top-handle bag and the mini shoulder bag made in a fun Gucci Strawberry pop print. You can find them all on the site of the Florentine brand.
