Sean Wotherspoon and Nike announce the end of their collaboration

Sean Wotherspoon will no longer collaborate with Nike.
The designer and Round Two co-founder just released a statement to officially stop rumors of an upcoming release of a new version of Air Max 1/97 (he had leaked an image in September last year on his Instagram profile).

"I’ve been done working with [Nike], at least on another SW collab, for a while. Still lots of good friends there. I help when asked, but being able to spread my wings again is the best feeling ever."

I would buy these as Adidas, Nike, Saucony, ASICS, Reebok, etc.. This is a really great pair of shoes and that’s all that matters

He was spotted on December wearing a pair of YEEZY 700 V " and it spread rumors in the sneaker community about his chance to continue the collaboration with Nike. At this moment Sean is engaged in a new job with Guess but this is not about the end of his collaboration with the brand founded by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight.
