UNDERCOVER and Converse launch “The New Warriors” Pack
A tribute to the 70s Walter Hill's cult movie
March 12th, 2019
For their second project together, UNDERCOVER and Converse use the classic Chuck 70 as a canvas, a street painting inspired by The Warriors, cult movie of 1979 directed by Walter Hill that told about the clash of major New York gangs mixing underground, classic quotes and iconic looks.
The same rebellious mood characterizes the new sneakers presented by Jun Takahashi on the occasion of the SS19 fashion show in UNDERCOVER, during the Paris fashion week: double lacing system, zipper at the center of the upper, a large metal ring facing towards the tip, "The New Warriors" logo in contrast on the side of each shoe, “NW” patch on the ankle. All with a canvas upper, available in black and off-white colors.
UNDERCOVER x Converse Chuck Taylor 70 The New Warriors Pack will be available at select retailers and online at the official website of the American brand starting March 16th.
