F IS FOR... Million Miles w/ Bakar

After exploring dance, street art and a fashion boxing battle, Fendi is ready to enter the world of music. For the series F is For..., its digital platform curated by millennials for millennials, the Roman brand offers an exclusive live performance by singer Bakar. In a very short time, this 20-year-old born and raised in the Camden district of London who dreamed of being a rock star became the best next thing of the British music scene. Despite his aversion to mobile and social media, only one album was enough, Badkid, released in 2018, to make him love a wide range of fans that includes cool and famous names like Skepta, Virgil Abloh and even Elton John. If in the original Million Miles video he professes all his passion for football and former Chelsea defender, John Sitton, in the live for Fendi the rapper dressed with the SS19 collection and accompanied by young guitarist Jack Laver, jumps, runs and hovers on the roof of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, giving a unique and engaging show.

“To me F is For… Freedom. I realized music was freeing me and then the aim was to make sure it was freeing other people. To let other young people know you can do whatever you like. Music it defiantly makes me feel free!”
