Japan football jerseys on Han Kjøbenhavn catwalk
Japan football have inspired the Scandinavian style in the first Paris Fashion Week day
January 16th, 2019
The Paris Fashion Week has begun, opened with the eagerly awaited Heron Preston show, which has unveiled a new collaboration with Nike. The schedule for today promises big twists with the shows of Off-White, JW Anderson, Acne Studios, Valentino and Raf Simons. However, footballers more attentive to catwalks could have noticed the fashion show of the Danish brand Han Kjøbenhavn, founded by Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen in 2008.
As happened during last weekend, in fact, it is the world of football and its jerseys to inspire the looks of the fashion designers. Two football jerseys have walked on the catwalk, renewing the partnership with PUMA that has long characterized the collections of the Danish brand.
The first is Shimizu Sb-Pulse jersey, a Japanese team sponsored by PUMA, in white with a geographical map of Asia and Oceania, characteristic of many jerseys of the team managed by a Scandinavian. The club is relatively young but despite this has a great impact on popular Japanese culture. On the front Han Kjøbenhavn has added to the number 10 shirt the brand logo. As a demonstration of the versatility of this item, used more and more by stylists, there is the sophisticated taste with which it has been combined with a brown turtleneck, which it perfectly matched with the collar. The second shirt is not as exposed as in the first jersey, because covered by a long brown coat. You can see the bright blue, white graphics and a high collar with buttons unmistakably 90s and probably part of the kit of one of the other three Japan teams sponsored by PUMA, Jubilo Iwata, Kawasaki Frontale or the Cerezo Osaka.
