Gucci celebrates Dapper Dan with a new book

Did you think the gift season was over? You were wrong, because Gucci is going to give one to all fans of fashion history. The brand has, in fact, just announced the publication of a special limited edition book dedicated to his friend and partner Dapper Dan. Entitled Dapper Dan's Harlem, the project created by Ari Marcoupolos documents the photographic journey in the New York neighborhood where the iconic designer opened the store that has made the history of hip-hop 90s, also location of the Gucci atelier opened last year with the couturier (remember the capsule collection in collaboration between the two?).
Inside the book, in addition to a series of original images, you can read the contributions other friends of the house as the artist, director and designer Trevor Andrew, the artist, poet and author Cleo Wade and the businessman and author Steve Stoute. Dapper Dan's Harlem will be presented on January 8 with a special event, a cocktail at the Gucci Garden in Florence in which Dan will participate, who will meet customers and sign some copies. If you want to tighten up the latest project of the Italian company, hurry up because there are only 1000 copies available, at the price of € 180, from Idea London, at the Gucci Garden in Florence and Gucci Wooster Bookstore in New York.
