Earlier this week London-based label maharishi started teasing its new collaboration with Nike in a string of IG posts that started by showing off some of the details of their Air Force 1 collab. The whole sneaker capsule has now been officially unveiled and we got some of the first exclusive editorial pics. The collection consists of three different shoe silhouettes with the Air Force 1 High Premium, Air Force 1 Low Utility Premium and Air Max 270 Bowfin Premium that have all been redesigned in that Japanese influenced maharishi’s style with a clear aesthetic nod to their Fall/Winter 2018 International Redactioniste collection. The Air Force 1 High Premium comes in a red or blue with a Moon Melton wool upper referencing military officer uniforms, and stadium jackets. The swoosh itself has also been deconstructed into an intricate embroidered golden dragon and tiger making up the motif. The Air Max 270 Bowfin Premium gets an outdoor, gorpcore, makeover in black and forest green with 3M reflective detailing. Lastly the Air Force 1 Low Utility sees a redacted text all-over print, with the innovative magnetic closing clasp that we've seen on other more tech-inspired Nike pieces.
The maharishi footwear collection will release along with a series of limited-edition T-shirts featuring the special collaboration graphics. Available via raffle for the three sneaker silhouettes which is open now via the maharishi’s web store, and will run until 12PM GMT on November 29.
