We have been reporting on the changes happening to Nike’s ACG line. Originating in the late 80’s All Conditions Gear gained a bit of a cult following during the outdoor sports boom at the time, but was discontinued in the mid 90’s, until it was resurrected in 2014 under the creative guidance of Acronym’s Errolson Hugh. ACG fit very well into the techwear aesthetic that we’ve only seen growing in popularity over the last few years, and it was with some disappointment that we met the news of Errolson’s work on the line being discontinued, and instead returning back solely to the OG designs of the past, spurred on by the current gorpcore trend. We've received teasers of a few of the first pieces, featuring a drip fractal pattern design, what we’ve seen so far are two thicker padded jackets in black and white, a knee-length padded shell jacket and two pairs of pants in black and olive green.
