Italian fashion house Fendi’s anticipated a collection that finally hits stores today, via simultaneous launch events in 7 special Fendi's stores. For the occasion this evening there will be the worldwide launch of the capsule titled Fendi Mania whose birth began at Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2018-19 Women’s show when the brand featured a Fendi/Fila merged logo created by Instagram artist @hey_reilly. This new print was seen on the catwalk of said season and was allegedly included some of the brands’ best sellers. In response the brands have joined forces presenting a collection with an electric vibe that echoes music and art references, a ideal display of luxury meets sportswear.
The street-inspired collection includes ready-to-wear looks, shoes and accessories catering for women, men and kids. The "Fendi Mania" logo is featured in two colour combinations: red with blue and yellow with white. It also pairs with the iconic FF logo on minks coats, reversible oversized and cropped bombers and is splashed over silk pleated skirts and tops. The menswear pieces are also set to be a hit, including sweaters, padded vests and re-vamped jeans. The brands’ intentions seem too be to create an entire family moment for their customers as the capsule also embraces the ‘Fendi Mania’ logo patterned over baby playsuits, jumpsuits and kids wear for both girls and boys. Keen attention was also paid to accessories which include backpacks, fanny packs, urban-sport runners and inlaid socks. In addition, the collection is topped off with the "Momento Fendi Mania" which is a 40mm stainless steel watch with a silver-white dial and a face that features the red and blue logo complemented by a blue leather strap.
