A drag queen stars in the lookbook of the Moschino x H&M collection
The capsule is exaggerated and over the top, just like Jeremy Scott likes it
October 12th, 2018
Every year the fast fashion giant H&M chooses a designer for a collaborative collection; this year it's Jeremy Scott's turn, the rebel and extravagant creative director of Moschino.
The collection takes inspiration from the 90s, with the M of the Moschino writing that is the MTV logo, plus printed tracksuits, Disney characters, sequins, slides, over-the-knee boots, leather skirts and golden details. The classy touch are the bags made to look like giant condom wrappers.
“Whenever I design, I think about my friends. The Moschino x H&M lookbook is like a party; celebrating the fun, the pop, the creativity, and the energy of the people and the collection.” Jeremy Scott
In front of the camera we find the designer himself, accompanied by friends and family, like the drag queen Aquaria, model Teddy Quinlivan, Scott's assistant Sakura Bready, and the head of PR and best friend Pablo Olea, without forgetting a dog wearing a total look Moschino x H&M. The lookbook is as over the top and exaggerated as the items of the collection.
The Moschino x H&M capsule collection will be available from November, 8. Take a look at the lookbook here:
