Definitely one cannot accuse Ronnie Fieg of laziness or lack of inspiration, because for his third collection, just presented during the NYFW, it is huge.

At the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn, in front of an audience that includes the biggest names in sports, music and fashion such as LeBron James, Justin Bieber, Alexandre Arnault, 2 Chainz, Heron Preston and Fabolous, four distinct fashion ideas are staged to as many collections: the homonymous line of Kith, a capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, one with Greg Lauren and a collaboration with Versace. Over 120 looks, womenswear and menswear together, which underline how fashion is no longer linked to the traditional concept of seasonality and how the shows are more and more engaging shows. The show opens in an autumn forest with the new creations of Fieg, a riot of duvets, tartans, street and sportswear elements, oversized volumes contrasted with tight silhouettes, overlays and worker jackets. Among the proposed items stand out the partnerships with Bergdorf Goodman, Columbia and with MASTERMIND Japan.

On the catwalk, set up with a series of bookcases, arrives Hailey Baldwin, the most talked about it girl thanks to the engagement with Justin Bieber, and starts the section of the show dedicated to the collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. The model in a color block shirt and tie juxtaposed to cut-out khaki trousers, all with all-over print, offers the first look on a proposal strongly influenced by the "nostalgia effect" for the classic 90's streetwear, born from a review of the immense archive of the American designer. The garments, including preppy and streetstyle, from sweatshirts to polos, from denim truckers to jackets, are updated in a modern way, with more current cuts, co-branding, while maintaining the OGf colors of Hilfiger. The capsule also includes footwear: the Hilfiger Athletics Skew Basketball Sneaker, which returns for the first time since 1996, and the boots (6 "Construct and 40 Below Super Boot) made with Timberland.

The music of hip-hop that has dominated much of the soundtrack until now gives way to the Nirvana of Smells Like Teen Spirit, grunge notes that reflect the new series of rough, cut and reassembled garments, like a sort of fashion Frankenstein with a vintage and dusty flavor and a cool attitude. They are the result of the work with Greg Lauren, a painter and designer famous for mixing military clothing and denim, they are hybrid garments with frayed edges and custom details, like Pollock-esque paint splatters or printed blocklettering.

 Kith x Versace

The last piece of this huge show is the capsule with Versace. Opens the section dedicated to the Italian fashion house Bella Hadid in bra, cycling shorts and cropped down jacket, all with a baroque fantasy, while closing the Portuguese Sara Sampaio with a variation of the same look. In the middle there are Lucky Blue Smith and the other models with graphic blazers, quilted velvet bomber jackets, a synthetic fur trainer jacket decorated with the Versace logo, t-shirts with sparkling golden designs and the silk shirt with geometric patterns. A fun fact: the Versace brand for Fieg has a special value, it is linked to the mother who dreamed of owning a piece of the Italian label, without, unfortunately, being able to afford it.
