AFTERHOMEWORK (Paris) and its virtual FW18 campaign

Strong colors, retro shots and an artificial intelligence as protagonists

AFTERHOMEWORK (Paris) and its virtual FW18 campaign Strong colors, retro shots and an artificial intelligence as protagonists

What will the photographic shooting be like in the future? The passion of fashion for new, particular, androgynous faces will take us someday to prefer human-virtual as models? Robots that "embody" the perfect aesthetics that each brand seeks, wants and evokes? We can not say this with certainty yet, but the French label AFTERHOMEWORK (Paris) has played with this story on the occasion of its latest FW18 campaign.

Perl is the protagonist chosen for these pics which, through a retro photo filter and the bright colors of the clothes, mix vintage and avant-garde style. This woman, naked and in the center of the scene, symbolizes a character with artificial intelligence that is photographed and observed by the team of make-up artists, hairdressers, stylists and photographers who, unlike her, are the real models from the moment who are wearing the garments of the AFTERHOMEWORK Fall-Winter collection. In her nudity she appears as a shy being, close, object of study by the set, like a painting that, although physically present, is absent, is not there, is deprived of its humanity.

Once again, the French brand plays with volumes and how minimal style can be coordinated with sportswear. Sneakers and cyclist pants meet the shirts and their asymmetric cuts. Elegance and practicality under one name, the name of AFTERHOMEWORK (Paris).
