SS19: The Romantic Revolution of Danilo Paura
Dressing up is like exploring yourself
August 7th, 2018
The photographers Enrico de Luigi and Filippo Zaghini captures the new garments for the SS19 by Danilo Paura in a lookbook inspired by the "Corner Portraits" by Irving Penn.
They are powerful images that do not tell a simple collection, but a romantic revolution. Whisper a maliconic western song made of a multitude of fabrics and colorful prints, tie-dye trousers and stonewashed jeans shorts, elegant striped shirts and poster sweatshirts.
Danilo Paura intersects streetwear with an underground countryside style, a chaotic wardrobe that reminds a bit of the tragic heroes of Gus Van Sant in "My own private Idaho", a fashion for those who are not afraid to show contradictions and fragility.
Because dressing is like exploring yourself.
