Raf Simons returns to Paris for the SS19 menswear collection

After a three-season break, Raf Simons announced that he will present his SS19 menswear collection in Paris.

The show in the Ville Lumière is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20th at 21:30, the same day Off-White, Walter Van Beirendonck, Valentino and Undercover will unveil their new creations to the public.

For the past 18 months, since becoming the chief creative officer of Calvin Klein and moving to New York, Simons had chosen Manhattan for his fashion shows. This was a productive period for the Belgian creative designer, during which he won the "Fashion Oscars", that is the designers' awards for the year 2017 of men's and women's clothing at the CFDA Awards.

His return to France represents a major loss for the NYFW, already lacking big names or talents in his calendar and many wonder if it will manage to overcome such an important absence.

The other question is: who knows what, after the tributes to NY, Blade Runner and Christiane F. We, the boys of the Berlin Zoo, will be the inspiration of Simons new collection?
