The Met Gala is one of the most important social events of the year.

Among the many guest celebrities, the new creative director of Louis Vuitton could not miss.

Virgil Abloh, accompanied on the red carpet by Kendall Jenner in Off-White, wears a white Louis Vuitton atelier suit, with a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 x Off-White.

Only a few hours before the event, the designer had posted on his Instagram account the making off, and details of his outfit: the inside of a gilet embroidered with a religious motif reminiscent of a mosaic, with the inscription "Louis Vuitton atelier homme 2 éme étage pont neuf ~ fait main 03 mai 18".

A choice in perfect agreement with the theme of this year's Met Gala "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" which explores the relationship between fashion and the Catholic Church. According to the rumors, the garment will be part of the men's collection to be presented next June, at Abloh's debut show for Louis Vuitton.
