When thinking of the 90s it becomes inevitable to be overwhelmed by nostalgia: when we moved to the dance rhythms of Twenty 4 Seven, the girls sported the tails of Gwen Stefani, and the rebel piercings like Britney. The "cool" guys wore all denim, and the pressures of the unknown approaching 2000s were felt all round.

Someone, however, made the 90s his strength, his golden age: Tommy Hilfiger. The strong, firm and fresh vibrations of the brand's young line, Tommy Jeans, managed to hypnotise everyone, from Hollywood stars to young dreamers: everyone wanted to be part of Tommy's Crew, because everyone wanted to be part of something big.

The iconic red-white-blue colors, the oversize aesthetic that became harmonious, the short tops that became a must, all happened in the space of ten magical years, when the frenzy didn’t matter, surrounded by chaos, nobody thought of tomorrow, because everyone lived in the present, and the present was Tommy Hilfiger.
