"On The Turf": BornxRaised captures the essence of Venice in a series of Converse's Jack Purcell

BornxRaised is the expression of all the subcultures that have flourished and defined the streets of Venice, California, the birthplace of the co-founder of the brand, Spanto. It was natural, therefore, that the inspiration for the first collaboration with Converse has come from that unique place, full of creative influences.

Spanto chose and reworked in a personal way the Converse Jack Purcell model sneaker which debuted on the badminton court in 1933 and the same one that he has always worn while growing up.The shoe now has a black or camel-colored upper in a fake pony, the inscription "On The Turf" on the tongue and the white rubber sole, while the toe and heel, also in rubber, have the same tones as the sneaker.

The "On The Turf" pack will be launched on February 2 with a two-day pop-up shop at the 1313 Oceanfront Walk in Venice, and on February 3rd will be available globally on converse.com and selected retailers.
