Gucci celebrates the Chinese New Year with a new collection
The theme? Obviously the Year of the Dog

Gucci celebrates the Year of the Dog on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, scheduled for February 16th, with a collection of 63 articles created ad hoc, fun, colorful, elegant but always characterized by the creative touch of Alessandro Michele.
All this is inspired by a pillow that the artist Helen Downie, known with the pseudonym of Unskilled Worker, has given to the Creative Director and which portrays Bosco and Bear, his two Boston terriers.
Clothing, accessories, suitcases and bags. The iconic pieces will be the hooded, backpacks and shopping bags with big images of dogs, which will embellish also scarves and watches.
The items will be available from mid-January online and at Gucci's stores that, for the occasion, will be set up in line with the collection: walls, floors and upholstered seats, all covered in the same tartan, with a giant of each of this two dogs on the background walls.
