Paris Men’s Fashion Week FW18 Moodboard
The inspirations directly from the catwalks
January 22nd, 2018
Another fashion week is over, leaving us, only for a few hours, orphans of our stylistic future.
The fashion week, in fact, leaves Paris after the Haute Couture to head towards the Big Apple, but before definitively saying goodbye to the French capital we retrace the best that the designers have proposed to us.
Above all the inspirations that they have suggested what to create for the FW18.
Art, design, society, Greek myths, traditional Russian clothes, ancient manuscripts, ... the influences come from many different parts.
Some examples? For Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton re-elaborates Irish Pony Kids immortalized by Perry Ogden; Comme des Garçons Shirt print about his works by Jean Micheal Basquiat; Dries Van Noten mixes the atmosphere of Nashville with Robert Beatty's graphics; Rick Owens transforms the myth of Sisyphus into clothes.
And the others? Where did they gather ideas for their collections?
Check below.
