Cottweiler FW18: when tailoring meets sportswear
A night at the museum
January 8th, 2018
Founded by the duo Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty, the English brand Cottweiler returns to amaze and enchant with its latest collection presented during the London Men's FashionWeek FW18.
Appreciated and very refined for its ability to combine high fashion elements with the practicality of sportswear, Cottweiler is positioned at the turn of these two realities. Presented in the setting of the Museum of Natural History in London, the items presented in the Cottweiler FW18 collection are characterized by a strong urban-futuristic appeal in which the high-quality tailoring and technical fabrics meet the practicality of the sportswear trend.
To define the collection, the details that bring to mind the technical mountaineering harnesses fused to perfection with the highly tailored cut of the trousers and bags made in collaboration with Mulberry on which stand out the finishing touches reminiscent of the stalactites, emphasizing again the importance of natural elements as an inspiration and a link between man and the environment for designers.
