Gucci Places celebrates the brand's inspirations
From Chatsworth to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art
December 15th, 2017
Gucci is a mix of inspirations, movements, lives and essences. Thanks to the influence of what surrounds us, the brand is able to be reborn and develop more and more, and for this reason it's right to celebrate the sources that lead to the magic of the brand.
Gucci Places was born for this reason, promoting the places from which the Maison is inspired. Chatsworth, in Derbyshire, England is the first 'place' previously announced, whose landscape was chosen as the background of the Gucci Cruise 2017 advertising campaign. It is accompanied by the historic Angelica Library of Rome, the Maison Assouline in London, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Bibo in Hong Kong, Castello Sonnino, Montespertoli, and the Waltz, Nakameguro of Tokyo.
Location with a story to be discovered and Gucci wants to be the precious guide. To encourage this adventure will be the same Gucci's app configured to take advantage of the geolocation services of the mobile device of those who use it: arrived near a Gucci Place, the user will receive a notification that will invite him to discover the location.
A selection of exclusive items, developed from those of the Gucci Courrier collection, complete the Gucci Places project, each inspired by a specific destination.
