Balenciaga presents a capsule collection of Supermarket Bags
Will it replicate the success of the fake Frakta bag?

Can disposable plastic handbags inspire cult and luxury accessories for $ 1000 each one?
If your name is Demna Gvasalia (or even Jil Sander), the answer is yes, but it is not the first time that the Balenciaga designer turns an economic object into one reserved for a select few. He had already done it with the Frakta of Ikea and now he repeats the operation with a capsule collection of 'Supermarket Shoppers': three reinterpretations of the classic disposable plastic bag now made of fine lambskin.
There are also three prints and color variations: The Power of Dreams in yellow, white and blue; Europe in green and gold; Double B in red and black.
