New Balenciaga Triple-S colorway are in the way
Exclusively for Dover Street Market from November 30th
November 24th, 2017
When Demna Gvasalia presented the new Balenciaga Triple-S during the show for the FW17, calling them “heavy-duty, high fashion-spec footwear”, certainly he did not expect such a success.
Despite their bulky silhouette and the deliberately exaggerated proportions, each variant of the sneaker is consistently sold-out, setting off a series of fake proposals to meet the demands of all those who were unable to buy the original. The most striking example? Zara that, some time ago, sold for $35 a shoe quite similar to the one created by Demna Gvasalia.
Now all fans of Balenciaga will try their luck again because the brand has presented a new color in collaboration with the Dover Street Market chain, which will sell it exclusively.
The “ugly shoe” has a delicate color scheme in shades of white, yellow, blue and hiking-style laces.
To introduce the new Triple S, Pop-Up Event, named Copyshop, will be set up at the DSM store in London and Ginza, open from November 30 until December 17.
Within the space provided, you can create your own T-shirt, the 'BALENCIAGA DO IT YOURSELF Ts', instantly printing graphic, based on white, black, red or gray.
