One of the most Maison Margiela's representative element is undoubtedly the white lab coat.
Worn from the origins by the staff and also by the creative director Mr. Galliano, it is finally time to re-propose this iconic piece in collaboration with Mackintosh, a producer of outerwear, representing the true essence of Margiela .
In the total white variant, the trench, presented with the classic silhouette, is embellished with white horn buttons, perfect for next season SS18. An alternative is instead provided by the same gray version. It is characterized by cuffs and collars reworked using the so-called 'décortiqué' process that Galliano has explored in his Artisanal collection. For the waterproof coat, the rubber fabric was used, while seams were specially concealed.
The two limited edition garments will be available from December in Maison Margiela boutiques, Mackintosh flagships and selected multi-brand stores.
