Guram Gvasalia announces the debut of a new Vetements x Reebok sneaker

Vetements’ success is unstoppable.

After conquering Europe and the States, the brand of Gvasalia brothers wants to consolidate its success on the Asian market and, indeed, will be opened a pop-up store for a period of one day, on November 18, in Hong Kong.

Although the exact location is still unknown, Guram Gvasalia, CEO of the label, announced for this occasion a special surprise: the launch of a new runner Vetements x Reebok.

The shoe project began over two years ago, when during a visit to the Reebok headquarters in Canton, Massachussets, Demna Gvasalia fell in love with the prototype of a Pump Evolution Runner left on the shelves for 30 years and never before produced by the US company.

So of Gvasalia team has started working on the sneaker up to transform it into a product equipped with split-tooling sole, composed of several pieces that form the lower part of the shoe, perfect for running, flexible, ultra-light and, according Guram “comfortable than any other sneaker like it on the market, the only fashion sock runner that is tested and approved to be a true performance sneaker”.

To see it live and buy it, the appointment is on November 18.
