Riccardo Tisci x NikeLab present their latest collection

A few days ago, the renowned Italian designer, Riccardo Tisci, previewed what would be his next collaboration: NikeLab x RT.

Behind Victorious Minotaurs, a contemporary sporting world that decisively moves towards a new era, more elegant, yet always traditional, featuring typical sportswear outfits, from the Oxford shirt to soft trousers, to the Nike Destroyer Jacket and the new NikeLab x RT Air Force 1.

This second revision of Riccardo Tisci on the iconic silhouette features a new NikeLab x RT logo and a tribute to the NBA in the choice of colors, red, white and blue, that blend together on the shoe and return once again to the logo, reissued also on clothes and caps.

"I'm obsessed with Air Force 1, it's very clean and pure but at the same time elaborate, and it's the shoe that best represents my style and my collaboration with Nike",

states Tisci. The name of the collection, Victorious Minotaurs, is that of the imaginary team of the designer, a strong basketball team who loves sport but does not give up on style, turning the entire collection in a true off-court uniform.

"In the 1990s, basketball players were like rock stars," adds the designer, "but today they are even more than rock stars. They are superhuman - almost recalling historical mythology."

The Victorious Minotaurs Riccardo Tisci x NikeLab collection will be available on October 12 in North America, on October 20 in Paris and on October 21 in all NikeLab stores and online.
