The second edition of the style & culture festival that changed the rules of the game

For those who do not know Bread & Butter by Zalando is the Berlin festival that unites fashion, music, and art and this year celebrated its second edition in great style. The non-conformist and open-minded spirit of the event have come to life around the BOLD theme.
Panel talk, live shows, retrospectives, laboratories, culinary events, shop experiences and more: the full shopping and entertainment experience, with now buy now and exclusive ad hoc shopping, has demonstrated how much B&&B is the format of future festivals.

DAY 1
#1 FASHION
To inaugurate the festival an entire exhibition dedicated to Vivienne Westwood while the polyhedric Topshop FW17 collection and the Zalando runway, headed by Adwoa Aboah, kicked off a weekend of exclusive shows and presentations.
#2 MUSIC
M.I.A literally dominated the stage at B&&B, conquering with her performance the entire audience of Bread & Butter who could not resist and tried to reach the stage on ecstasy. The entire performance took place in front of one of the most technically advanced LED screens in Europe, contributing to the creation of a unique atmosphere.
#3 TALKS
Wyclef Jean has completed his musical journey with an improvised live performance followed by a panel discussion with fashion system experts such as our web content coordinator Giada Tinelli, Valentina Siragusa and Armela Jakova who commented live the Topshop show. One of the most anticipated moments? Vivienne Westwood's talks about the importance of literature and art.

For food enthusiasts, the Asian Street Food Masters and Michelin star detentor, Chan Hon Meng has delighted the B&&B audience.
DAY 2
#1 FASHION
The second day was entirely devoted to men's fashion, from TOPMAN to HUGO and G-STAR RAW, the runways spoke directly to the heart of every man in the hall.
#2 MUSIC
From the sublime performances of the avant-pop singer FKA Twigs to Yung Hurn's rap vibration, B&&B's second night has met the musical needs of everyone, culminating in the Vogue Ball with some of the most audacious and incredible looks seen in Germany.
#3 TALKS
Model and activist Adwoa Aboah brought her GURLS TALK format to Berlin for a discussion with Dr. Lauren and the transgender blogger and model Maxim Magnus on body positivity, feminism and the importance of love for oneself - all mediated by Alexandra Bondi de Antoni. A second talk by Hype's founder Liam Green has traced the story of his success as a roundtable hosted by TOPMAN saw the poet Max Wallis and CD Gordon Richardson exploring love, youth and the meaning of masculinity.
#4 FOOD
For those who thought that in a festival of style and culture might lack food, it would recapture after having been at Bread & Butter by Zalando. Tastes from all over the world, pancakes by Feiner Herr, street food delicatessen - not counting the best scoops in Berlin offered by Jones Ice Cream.
DAY 3
#1 FASHION
Among the many reasons why this B&&B could end up being in the annals of fashion history, there is the first Viktor & Rolf Haute-Couture first ever fashion show out of Paris that showed a selection of looks from their last three collections while Napapijri led the B&&B visitors on a multi-sensory journey on the notes of the Four Seasons of Vivaldi by artists Sharon Doorson, Jan Blomqvist, TOKiMONSTA and Raleigh Ritchie.
#2 MUSIC
Bildeburch's funk-punk sounds inflamed the audience before the Berlin DJ Ticklis brought his jungle juke R & B jams. The last one to join the dances was Virgil Abloh who has perpetrated his mission of spreading club culture in contemporary culture.
#3 TALKS
Digital disruption and multi-platform storytelling for the talk led by David Fischer, founder of Highsnobiety, and the importance of conscious design with Viktor & Rolf that have also announced their coming collaboration with Zalando.
#4 FOOD
During this second edition, the Michelin Stars have taken the most disparate forms, becoming on Sunday the dishes of Spanish chef Iago Castrillón and Street Food Chef Hawker Chan, without counting the presence of Markus Herbicht.
