Virgil Abloh may be Versace's new creative director
Sources “close to the designer” are sure of it

Virgil Abloh could be the next creative director of Versace.
The source according to Glossy, are two figures “close to the designer” who claim little is missing to form an agreement between the parts and sign the contract that formalizes the engagement.
Until recently rumors believed that Abloh was about to replace Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, who, in turn, seemed to be hired by Versace. In a strange twist of fate, now this work could be assigned to the founder of the Off-White, who has stated in the past that his ultimate goal is to manage a major fashion house.
"I have a litany of ideas that bring modern relevance, but also a financial vision on how these brands can be more successful in the space of luxury" - he told WWD - ".OFF-WHITE is sort of my résumé and it’s my laboratory to experiment with these ideas to see which ones are valid".
Now maybe his dream is about to come true.
Let's wait for an official confirmation.
