Kanye West to present YEEZY Season 6 during NYFW
The rapper would be negotiating to find a place on the official calendar
July 21st, 2017
It begins, slowly, to outline the list of designers who will attend the New York Women's Fashion Week next September.
Thom Browne and Tommy Hilfiger have abandoned her.
Rihanna and Tom Ford have already announced their participation.
The last name that would appear to be sure is that of Kanye West.
According to WWD, the rapper would be willing to leave his retirement on the mountains where he is creating his new album to present the latest collection of YEEZY.
This time West has discussed with the CFDA to find a spot on the spring schedule for his line and, therefore, should avoid the controversy of last year - you would remember that YEEZY Season 5 showed without permission, at the same time as the Marchesa show - when the president and CEO of the CFDA Steven Kolb had called that unfortunate move “disruptive to the whole week and unfair to designers who have secured spots through the formal procedure”.
Avoided this problem, hopefully, there's will not be a repeat of the disastrous Season 4 in Franklin Four Freedoms Park show neither, with guests stuck in traffic and the models who fainted from the heat and the long wait.
Fingers crossed.
