July 12th, 2017
Think of any object and you will probably find that out there is a version made by Louis Vuitton.
From cashmere blankets, through the iconic trunks, even up to the Mona Lisa reworked by Jeff Koons accessories covered by the famous LV monogram are many, missing only one smartwatch.
At least it was missing until today because the French Maison has just presented its first piece of wearable technology, the new Tambour Horizon wristwatch.
Designed with Android Wear 2.0, along with Google and Qualcomm Technologies, this 41.5mm case has the best technical capability of a smartwatch with the elegance of a Tambour, the iconic watch piece produced by Louis Vuitton since 2002.
Unisex design makes it perfect for the most demanding and refined globetrotter: three unisex variants (Graphite, Monogram and Black); leather or rubber straps for a total of 60 variants (30 women and 30 men).
A multitude of backgrounds, including the iconic elements of the Maison like the monogram canvas case an example of small luxury leather. There are several features of this Tambour, which has a 4 GB memory and is compatible with Android and iOS as “My Flight” that informs travelers of flight times, terminal, delays and the number of hours left before departure and “City guide” which extends the smartwatch the services of guides published by Louis Vuitton.
Prices start at 2,300 Euros for the case and EUR 350 for the straps.
